It's a smiling wound my friends!
Well as you can see when I get home from work I still have more to do! I have been dressing David's wound everyday for the last 2-3 weeks. Following some antibiotics the cellulitis around the wound cleared up but it remains problematic. The yellow you see in the right side of the wound is slough which is dead skin. After this has come out I will encourage the wound to close by using steri-strips to hold the edges of the wound together. Unfortunately this is not going to be a beautiful scar like Moomins but we can't have it all can we!
Ever since the wound opened up I have been taking pictures of it on my phone and grossing people out! That is why the pic doesn't have great resolution but its only 1.3 megapixels.
Please pray that in the coming days the wound will heal quickly and that David will be restored to full functioning capacity as he is still very tired despite the Christmas break. X

That is truly disgusting! Ever wonder why I left ward work? I couldn't stomach the pressure sore pictures!
Do I take it you have a revived pooter?
gross.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Excellent work nutty nurse - hope and pray for a revived Mr nuttynurse as soon as possible. Moomin scar is healing up nicely for which I thank the Lord. A bit sore today but then, I did drive a minibus last night (!).
My pooter is still sick sporadically but ok in the main.
Mr nutty nurse has aquired a laptop so at least he can work without the pooter crashing and loosing his work.
