Christmas Meme

Here goes Susanna:

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Paper, paper, paper..........maybe I should plant a few trees now!


2. Real tree or artificial? I have a fiber optic tree which changes colour all the time, yeah! Can't wait to put it up and watch Nathanael's reaction but that cannot be done till I have had my birthday!


3. When do you put up the tree? After the 12th. Probably will put up some time next week.


4. When do you take the tree down? When I get round to it. I don't believe if you leave it up too long than evil things live in it!


5. Do you like eggnog? Dunno! Sounds gross though!


6. Favorite gift received as a child? Easy. Matchbox city baby. Two built towers linked together with descending roads so when you push a car at the top it goes all the way down to the ground. Classic


7. Do you have a Nativity scene? No


8. Hardest person to buy for? In some ways my parents cos I don't want to give them stuff they don't like so I have to think real hard about it. Parents in law too but they often give suggestions which helps!


9. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Uh, can't honestly remember which means I've not received anything too horrendous. Oh, I did get a grandma washing bag, like old style floral pattern which is just sooooo not me!


10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail, it's tradition man! That reminds me.....must get on with it.


11. Favorite Christmas Movie? The Muppet's Christmas Carol. Def a family favourite.

12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? New year. But I just keep a look out for things as the year goes by and get them.

13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Most probably but can't remember.

14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? A massive plate of Christmas grub. Turkey, stuffing, sausages wrapped in bacon, roasted parsnips/potatoes................need I go on, salivate!


15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? White. Simple but beautiful. My fake tree has many colours but I prefer it when it's white lights shine!!



16. Favorite Christmas song? Oh come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, oh come ye oh come ye to Bethlehem!!! Or Silent night, holy night.


17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Well being a fledging family we still travel to other whether it be a few miles to the parents or further afield.


18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Rudolph innit. he could pull the sleigh by himself with that nose! All the other ones are nasty anyway. They wouldn't let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games.

19. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star.



20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? When little we got to open one on Christmas eve. especially if Christmas day was a Sunday but mostly now on the day.



21. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The ridiculous hype over shopping and progressively increasing lack of knowledge as to the real reason for Christmas.
