A little April foolery..........and the 'cute one'

As you can see on a recent escape to Devon me and Mr NN went in a cave which was well cool, literally! I was looking out for bats but I think I was the only one! Our hearty thanks and appreciation goes out to Susanna and David who sacrificed their bed for us and slept with the 'cute one' pictured above. Unfortunately they didn't sleep well and had a tired week as a result. Asking patients about their sleep patterns was probably ironic for David in his clinic!

We had a lovely time and were grateful for a break from the rat race and slick acceleration in a 2006 ford focus for the week. Unfortunately we had to return it and are now actively seeking new wheels.

Daniel is teething and a little moany but he is the most adorable little boy ever ever and I am totally in love with his mischievous smile and giggle! Watching Susanna being a mummy is an eye opener and I have to say she is fantastic. Both mummy and daddy Berry work hard and he is a very blessed little boy to have such wonderful parents. Ahem, enough of the slush (although it is all heartfelt).

Back to work on Monday with the 7000 word assignment due date looming on the horizon for my course. I will be grateful when it is over although it has been very good.

Mr NN is feeling quite rough, and its not the 1 week beard growth! Hopefully he will perk up as he has the hardest term ahead.

So now to watch to work to war.........and then to rest for ever........sweet!

Love to all XXXX

Am just working on the locust talk and stopped by to see if you'd surfaced again!
Where were the caves? Cheddar? By the way I have bought some cheddar for tea.
Found a couple of nice recipes for locust on Dr Frog's recipe page:
'parcht locusts' - Bashee Islands (1687)
'locust stew' - American pioneers
www.frogsonice.con/froggy/recipes.shtml
I expect your girls will like to hear them!
