7 days later.............

7 days later and I can just about muster the mental power to log on and say a few words. Mainly 'Thank you' to everyone for their support and prayers and 'Praise God' for His wonderful dealings. What a beautiful baby boy I have, marvellously made, so little and perfect.

Since starting a increased feeding regime, Nathanael has put on 40 grams. He is not back to his birth weight but with the extra help will get there soon. I unfortunately have a rash called 'Pruritic Urticated Papules of Pregnancy'. It is widespread and very itchy. With the help of several prescriptions it should be receeding in 2 weeks.

The 1st pic above was taken about 20 mins post partum! David looks more tired than me I think in pic no. 2!!! Then there is the proud grandmother, great aunt and 2 cute pics because he is just sooooooooo cute! My little hoody!

Well that is enough typing as I seem to be caught in limbo as my typing occurs faster than I see it happening in front of me, strange mental happenings!

Love to all NN & Nathanael XX

What's missing?

Well, the real baby giraffe! Apparently tall daddy's = tall baby and I'm not exactly short for a woman either. The midwife will be like, 'It's coming, nearly there, keep pushing, nearly there, it's still coming.................man how long is this baby!!!! Ha ha ha :)

Anyhoo, I'm having to wait on the Lord for the perfect delivery time. I'm looking forward to being able to bend over without feeling like a pressure cooker is in my belly but at the same time I will miss feeling the little legs pushing inside and the bottom wiggling around! I think I'm as ready as I'll be knowing that we have to move, probably on the 13th of April, so not setting the flat up for long term baby occupation. I have a stash of nappies waiting! I'm also looking forward to being able to run again......sweet exercise! I like swimming but it's even more monotonous than running, not that I'll have time to run properly but I will be able to run up the stairs, yay!

Nearly time to watch some cricket! Life of leisure at mo......swimming, watching sport, packing the odd box, dealing with solicitors and estate agents and being able to go to all church services, wow!

So now to waiting some more..........................with the twixs and cookies hidden safely in my hospital bag, hee hee!
