Nat is 2 whole anos!

Nat's birthday was a tiring but lovely day starting with playing in the park with Anna Jones and back to the Jone's residence for lunch.

Then we chilled in the afternoon and had Aunty Verity and Grandpa and Grandma around in teh evening.

Here is Moomin sharing the joys of Bob with Nat.......well, she looked excited!

Than Bampa showing Nat a card.

This is Nat a couple days later enjoying the fab weather and presents from Gma/Gpa.

Here is Nanul wearing one of his new t-shirts and pushing his 'gol car'. Thanks Aunty 'Care' and Uncle 'Jonny'.

This is Nanul's car garage which is already annoying me with the noises and the fact he keeps taking it apart!!!!! But it is cool so hey ho.

And finally, the 'I am 2 photo'!!! Moomin and Moomin papa have some pics of the cake..........maybe they will appear on Moomin's blog.............?!

Magical Duck and KFC!

One day Nat was bathing and a little duck was sitting on the edge of the bath. Nat saw him all on his lonesome and went to pick him up. The duck said to Nat 'I wish I was bigger, I feel so small in this big bath'. Nat hesitated and then picked up little duckie, gave him a toothy grin and said 'Lets try adding a little water'. Nat put little duckie in the water and...........

..............'POOOF' the duckie supersized and became a massive chicken sized duck!! The duckie was so happy about his new found stature that he span round and round which made Nat's grin even wider plus some giggling! Needless to say the duckie lived happily ever after!

From ducks to chickens..........Here is a funny picture of David and Nat eating KFC smuggled into the hotel when we were in Cheltenham recently. There was a football match on and Nat was probably pointing at the screen saying 'ball' with a mouth full of freshly fried chicken! D won't thank me for the pic but it's cute!

And since we be ornithologically orientated on this post, lets look at a beautiful penguin and bird from Birdland, Boughton-on-the-Water. The bird originates in Africa I believe but when I read the info about it and thought I would remember the name, I was sadly pregnantly brainedly mistaken! Ah well, another chapter in the decline of my grey matter............or what's left of it! The colour on the wings is just amazing.
